Country Thunder Bristol
Roaring back to Bristol Motor Speedway, the Country Thunder music festival takes place June 28-29, right on the racetrack. Country artists from Cody Johnson and Trace Adkins to Travis Danning and Priscilla Block will perform at this popular country music festival.

Anderson Park in Bristol is the place to be to celebrate Independence Day. This fun-filled event starts with a parade at 5 pm, features a Border Bash Summer Concert with Fritz & Co. and Scythian, and culminates with a fireworks show at 10 pm.
75 Virginia Highlands Festival
The Virginia Highlands Festival, from July 26 to Aug. 4, is in its 75th year of celebrating Appalachia. This nearby special event is a compilation of 200 individual events, from visiting the Antiques & Vintage Market to an outdoor excursion at Hungry Mother State Park and a walking tour of a local vineyard.
